We are pleased to announce that the town of San Javier, next to the Mar Menor, will host the III Masters Murcia International Basketball Tournament, MAMBA 3.19, which will be held from November 29 to December 1 in the Municipal Sports Center. This ambitious project is organized by the Association Decyde and the TripleDoble collective, which have the collaboration of the Directorate of Sports of the Autonomous Community, the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia, the City Council of San Javier and its Department of Sports. An event of international repercussion is carried out with an estimated participation that will exceed 500 people among athletes, family members and companions between 35 and 60 years old who come from up to 12 different European countries. To all this we must add the public that will come thanks to the broadcast (by television and Internet) of the main games by TVM Televisión Murciana and Radio Marca MURCIA and coverage through social networks.
Making a review of the first two editions we see that it has been a success. Some of the figures obtained are the following: international teams from 15 different countries, players from more than 30 different nationalities, more than 1,500 overnight stays between the two editions, television repercussion. These and other data have made us be selected by the International Maxibasketball Federation (FIMBA) as a possible venue to host the FIMBA 2021 World League, which brings together up to 100 teams from all over the world.
